Sunday night the Steelers came away with a 26-14 victory at home against the Cleveland Browns but the bigger story to last night’s game was this was Ben Roethlisberger’s last home game in front of his fans. Fans cheered and some even cried as #7 trotted off the field one last time.
The 39-year-old quarterback’s final home game has many reflecting on his great achievements including raping women and basically getting away with it.
Early in #7’s career, Roethlisberger was a bit of a party animal—he was banned from almost every bar in his college town for being a doucher and eventually he would face multiple sexual assault allegations from different women he encountered. Settling out of court and missing just a few games, Roethlisberger put his passion for raping women on the sidelines as he focused on his career as a Pittsburgh Steeler.
“I’m just so thankful for the fans,” Roethlisberger said during the post game interview. “My family, obviously, and the good Lord has blessed me in so many ways. We’ve still got another game. I’ll be excited and ready to go for that, but this is just an awesome place.”
One woman reflected on Roethlisberger’s career as well saying she remembers at a party when Roethlisberger followed her into the bathroom, penis in hand. She said she remembers telling him he “shouldn’t be doing this and that it wasn’t right.” She added Roethlisberger shut the door as she continued to say she didn’t want to have sex but he kept saying “no it’s OK.”
Roethlisberger says what makes him great at what he does is his persistence. “When you have doubters telling you no you can’t come back in the fourth quarter and win this divisional game, or doubters that will say, no please don’t push me up against the wall and have your way with me, those are the people you come across in life you want to prove wrong.”
Roethlisberger says he can’t wait to go back and terrorize college parties again. “With the amount of money I have now from 18 successful years in the NFL, I should be able to pay a lot of women off.”
Roethlisberger attempted 46 passes for just 123 yards Monday night, throwing his 236th touchdown at Heinz Field and improving the Steelers to 8-7-1.
