Survey Ranks West Virginia 49th in Innovation, W.Va. Politicians Celebrate Not Being Last

A recent survey completed by WalletHub has ranked the Most and Least Innovative States in the country for 2019 (including the District of Columbia) and West Virginia’s ranking has the state’s politicians celebrating the major steps the state has taken in recent years.

West Virginia ranks 49th overall amongst all states and D.C. in the innovative list.

“Suck it Louisiana and Mississipi,” said Mitch Carmichael, W.Va. senate president.  “Things are much better than they were several years ago and this recent survey proves it.”
