A research and development team that includes West Virginia University researchers have developed a camera that is able to take a photo of the Stratford Springs sign.

According to Bandura, some of their photos may be showing pork chops and wings but the sign is still too bright to tell. The team is hoping by 2021 to have the technology to see what the sign is displaying.
